King Arthur Flour has some of the best recipes. It’s been a while since I made their Pane Bianco and with the cooler weather, I’ve been wanting to make bread. It’s usually folded up and shaped almost like a loaf but I wanted to be able to cut it more into wedges that I could serve with fruit or sliced grilled sausage so I shaped mine a bit differently. I sometimes add jalapenos, oregano and chopped pepperoni and make it almost like pizza but today I added mozzarella cheese, chopped figs and fresh basil.
That worked out exactly like I wanted it to work!
I probably shouldn’t even call it Pane Bianco because of the shape but it’s my bread and I can shape it any way I want, right?
