We saw this while on the road yesterday.
Is that really the police? All I can say is . . if ever I get arrested, I hope the officer is driving one of these and that’s what I get to ride on to jail. I don’t plan on ever getting arrested but that is the weirdest police vehicle I ever saw.
I would think it would be illegal to say “police” if it isn’t really police so, it must have really been the police.

Cool vehicle.

I wonder if it used for special events? The officer who is assigned to the schools here, drives a really cool looking car. (especially compared to the normal patrol cars.)

This is, I believe, a Spider motorcycle. I am assuming it is replacing the regular 2-wheel motorcycle the police usually use. It is a more stable vehicle having 3 wheels.

how cool!! actually safer than a regular motorcycle with the 2 wheels on front –

Oh, the actual name of the motorcycle is the Spyder. I spelled it incorrectly! We see these motorcycles all the time here in the Phoenix area but this is the first time I’ve seen one as a police motorcycle.

That is a great photo. The strangest police vehicle was a Prius with a blue light on top of it. I’m not making fun of Prius people as I drive one, but seriously?????

Maybe they can get into places where they can’t take a patrol car. Looks like a fun ride to me! LOL

If you get arrested and get to ride on that, please take a selfie and post it for us.

I am not a police woman, but I drive a “trike”. My two wheels are on the back. It’s so much fun to be 67 years old and “tooling” around town on my trike. I get a lot of comments from women my age (a lot of men, too) encouraging my craziness. I’ve had people follow me to find out more about it.
I go all around town, but have also had it on the interstate. I don’t enjoy that as much as the back roads and local streets, but it’s definitely doable.
