Yesterday and today Vince took off work to get some things done around the house . . things he had been putting off waiting for cooler weather. It’s nice when he’s off and we can have a late breakfast and then eat our next big meal about 3 and be done with kitchen chores.
There were steaks in the fridge that we needed to grill and I said . . we can have lobster and steak . . and celebrate!
Vince said “What are we celebrating? I said . . I don’t know . . and he said “cooler weather!”

Yes, when you live in central Texas, and summer is coming to an end, that’s reason enough to celebrate.
