I’ve never known anyone who loves to fish as much as Chad loves to fish. He could do it 24/7 I believe.
They’re up at my aunt and uncle’s lake house but he got up before 4 a.m. yesterday, drove more than two hours to down near the Gulf and went fishing with friends.
It does my heart good to see him smiling and knowing how happy he is when he’s fishing. I’m so thankful that my aunt and uncle never mind Chad, Nicole and Addie staying at the lake, and using their home there. Every time they’re there, my uncle fixes Chad up with guys who can take him fishing. This is the first time in a long time Chad has been able to go salt water fishing. It’s the fishing that might eventually get Chad, Nicole and Addie to move to Louisiana. Nicole would do it because she so dislikes the winters in MO but she doesn’t want to leave her family. Chad’s heart will probably always be in Louisiana. Maybe instead of us moving to MO, we could all move to Louisiana. Yes! I’ll vote for that.
Addie loves to fish about as much as Chad does. My uncle has a friend who lives on Lake Charles. He has a big fishing pier so Chad, Nicole and Addie are going back down to Lake Charles (about 2 hours) tomorrow so Addie can fish off the pier. There’s a good chance they can catch some good crabs too . . full moon last night should mean full crabs.
And, good grief . . this girl is growing like a bad weed!
Not sure what she’s doing but I think they were cleaning fish late into the night last night so she was probably “helping”. Or, it could be that someone had a camera and she thinks the only reason you would have a camera is to take a picture of her! 🙂
