Patterns Added:
- Grey Morlaix – This looks like a very wearable pattern and it’s free!
- Sweet Georgia Mystery Shawl KAL – Did I just say I wasn’t doing mystery knit alongs again?
Yarn Added:
Another week that no yarn arrived. Vince called and told me yarn had been delivered but it wasn’t yarn — it was a couple of shirts I had ordered. I kept trying to figure out what I had ordered . . NOTHING yarn related.
Projects I Worked On:
A bit more progress on Sunset Highway.
Last week I did get a good start on Longline Cardi but didn’t work on it at all at the retreat.
The best news of all – Addie’s sheep sweater (Kid Ewe Knot) is finished! Not yet blocked so you’ll probably see it again but the knitting is done.
Knitting Plans for this Week:
- Get at least 4″ knitted on Sunset Highway.
- Cast past sleeve separation on Longline Cardi.
- Get the heel turned on the Choco Rainbow socks.
Please share your knitting report.

Hi Judy- Glad you had a great time at retreat! I can’t seem to make any progress on any of my projects lately. And although I’m sure we can find the knit along on our own, I thought I’d let you know that both links go to the Grey Morlaix page.

Thank you . . it’s fixed now.

J – I can’t wait to hear your report about the knitting retreat! I’ve been to lots of quilt retreats but never to a knitting retreat. All those rocking chairs looked like they were just waiting for knitters to plop down in them and knit (and chat!) away. Did you have special projects? Show and tell? Talk talk talk? And you never went to a yarn store – maybe that’s the secret. Instead of going to “yarn festivals”, I should go to knitting retreats. So tell us what you did!

Love Addie’s sheep sweater; those sheep are adorable, and I bet she will love it. The retreat sounded like a fun time!

I don’t know why I’m surprised that you have multiple knitting projects going – we always do as quilters. For some reason, I thought knitters were more disciplined! LOL
