For a more solid color for my Bobble Cowl, I grabbed one of the yarns I had originally planned to use for the Brioche fade project.

I think the design will show up much better in a more solid color. It’s such a fun, quick and easy pattern. The yarn is Madelinetosh Twist Light and the color is Memory, which is lighter than it’s showing up in my photo.
As mentioned in a previous post, I think this is a great pattern for someone wanting to venture out a bit from basic knitting. It calls for one skein of fingering weight yarn so it would make a nice gift and it’s getting to be that time to think about Christmas gifts!

Even after all that work on What the Fade, it’s good that you let it go so you can be energized by what you are working on. At least you have wound yarn now.

That looks great…I couldn’t see the design at all in the other yarn. Good for you, starting over! Enjoy the knit!
