Every egg I cracked this weekend had double yolks.
The Marans are laying more double yolks than any chickens I’ve ever had. The Wyandottes still haven’t started laying . . lazy chickens.
I made cookies this weekend and used eggs from the older chickens because I figured if I used the new eggs, they would all have double yolks and screw up my recipe but I definitely love cooking double yolk eggs for breakfast since I only eat the yolks.
By the way, so no one thinks the eggs had no whites . . I separate the whites (somewhat) and add my whites to the eggs I cook for the dogs.

That’s fun! Stacey has one of 5 which lays doubles a lot – the blue eggs.
