One thing about these knitting reports that I’ve tried to figure out . . not so successfully, I might add – I do these reports on Friday and I list the yarns I’ve ordered and the yarns that have arrived. But, on Monday of the next week, if I order yarn, it’s here by Thursday so I hate adding that I’ve ordered it and it arrived in the same report so I’m going to drop the heating for “Yarn Ordered” and change the “Yarn That Arrived” to “Yarn Added”. Any yarn that shows up as added yarn will already be here. Make sense?
It’s been a slow week. Only one pattern added. No yarn added, but I got a good bit of knitting done and that’s what it’s really all about . . knitting and buying yarn! 🙂
Patterns Added:
- Rhinebeck is Calling – These socks really knit up pretty in some of the yarns that aren’t solid and aren’t striped, though it’s very pretty in solid colors too.
Yarn Added:
Hard to believe but no yarn arrived this week.
Projects I Worked On:
A bit of progress on Sunset Highway. I hope to get the sleeves separated off by the end of the weekend.
A bit of progress on What the Fade. I have a blog post about this one coming out in a couple of hours.
Got past the sleeve separation on my Linho.
Got a little bit done on Rhapsody in Cables . . enough to know that this is NOT a social knitting project for me. It requites lots of close attention! I stopped in the middle of a row so I can’t stretch it out. It’s going to be pretty but LOTS of cables and twists and turns.
Finally, my mindless sock project that I worked on at my knitting group. One sock has been finished for months and months. I got a good bit done on the second sock this week. Who knows when I’ll work on it again though.
Knitting Plans for this Week:
- Get past sleeve separation for Sunset Highway.
- Do clue #2 for What the Fade.
- Make at least 1 purple baby hat.
- Cast on and get started Longline Cardi.
Please share your knitting report.

You have quite a bit of variety in your projects. I am going to watch your Rhapsody project as it progresses, it looks like an interesting and engaging one.
