Before I started making homemade yogurt, I had no idea how much we would use or how different it would taste from storebought yogurt. The Jalapeno Avocado Cream I made the other day . . I used yogurt. For many of the salad dressings I make . . I use yogurt. O our baked potatoes, enchiladas, etc., I use yogurt instead of sour cream.
Last night we had yogurt, cantaloupe, a bit of Callebaut dark chocolate and walnuts. I only put a couple of pieces of chocolate i mine but for the most part, this was a healthy snack. Even though I use whole milk for making yogurt, it has probiotics so I’m counting it as a healthy snack . . and definitely a yummy snack.

I made yogurt on Saturday for the first time. I am at a loss for how to use it though. I want to make some overnight oatmeal and I need to pick up some fruit to try it all together. It’s very creamy and smooth, but not sweet at all. Time to start experimenting!
