Sometimes when young hens start laying, besides having double yolks, they will lay HUGE eggs. Sometimes, they will lay very small eggs. The current new hens are laying tiny eggs.
I hope you can see how tiny the far back egg is. The front egg is a normal size . . not too big, not too small.
The Wyandottes haven’t started laying yet but I’m betting they start this week.
