I never listen to myself . . but I’m going to start!
Friday night when ESK announced their Flash Knit Along, I was so excited. I love those kinds of things and usually they keep me on my toes knitting to keep up with the group. Then I thought about everything else I wanted to get finished and about the various knit alongs coming up and decided not to do it.
Yesterday was the first day we were supposed to start knitting so . . I couldn’t stand it. I went through my stash again and came up with some yarns.
Yarns for Knit Along
I started knitting and got about 10 rows done. I looked at the multicolored yarn and said to myself “I love this yarn too much for this project. I want it for socks!” so I ripped it all back and listened to myself and decided not to do the knit along.
I’m happy with my decision!

Listening to the smartest person you know??? 😉 I do stuff like then with quilt alongs……too many projects.
I was going through my itty bitty yarn stash a few days ago and found your special Loopy Ewe Legends yarn. Have you used yours yet or are you saving it for something specific?

You make me smile so much-it’s nice to see that I am not alone in my obsession (although mine is quilting). I’m constantly thinking, ‘I want to do this quilt along, oh, but I already have this and that started; no, I can do it’, only to end up abandoning all hope of quilting along. Thank you for always being so real!

I too want to know if you used your special Loopy Ewe yarn. I bought some too in your honor but haven’t used it yet. I’m waiting for you to see what you do with it. lol
