This poor bantam chicken has spent the entire summer on the nest . . not just one nest though. She’s one of two that have nest hopped all summer.

She no longer gets to sit on eggs because she stays on them a couple of days, then moves to another nest and she was ruining eggs and I was afraid that every egg I cracked was going to be bad. She’s perfectly happy to sit on golf balls but I can’t believe she doesn’t just give up and get on with life.

As long as she’s happy I guess that’s all that matters…reading this made me think of my brother who does the same thing with life situations, he’ll sit on it and sit on it until someone else makes the decision lol.
