No, not real sheep! There was a time when I begged for a few goats so I could have goats’ milk for making cheese, soap and lotion. I always wanted a few sheep because they seem so sweet, and so cuddly and they produce yarn (in a roundabout way) but I guess old age is catching up with me . . I no longer want more mouths to feed. I don’t want more dogs, I don’t want more cats, I don’t want more chickens! Seeing puppies, baby chicks, newborn goats . . I always want one or two, but I haven’t made it through “Chick Days” yet without adding baby chicks.
When I saw this pattern, Kid Ewe Knot, which is a new pattern, you know I had to knit it for Addie. It’s adorable. It’s worsted weight so what’s not to love? Yesterday morning while waiting to go to knitting, I cast on Kid Ewe Knot. I tried to work on it while at knitting but it required a little more attention than I could give it while talking and laughing so I stuck it in bag and worked on weaving in the ends of a shawl. After knitting I had to go to physical therapy. I’m not very good at sitting and doing nothing . . I know . . technically, doing therapy isn’t “doing nothing” but I couldn’t knit while doing it so I was chomping at the bit to get home and start knitting. I had tire issues AGAIN and had to go by Discount Tire but I had my knitting with me. Darned those Discount Tire folks. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes .. not much knitting time.
So . . it was late into the night – rather, early in the morning, but I got the colorwork done before going to bed.
This is so cute and so fun and I want to make one for me .. but first, I want to finish Addie’s. I’m making a size 8 because she has enough sweaters for a while. I’m wishing I’d made it to fit her now.
The rest of the knitting is quick and easy — plain stockinette. I keep telling myself I could finish this today but I have to get laundry, ironing, cooking and a bit of housekeeping done. I cannot sit and knit all day, right?

Very adorable! I see nothing wrong with sitting and knitting all day! 🙂

That is going to be so cute! Yes, you CAN sit and knit – that takes priority.

I wish I could sit and knit all day! I see nothing wrong with that at all. I have a shawl waiting to have its ends woven in. I should go check and see if it’s dry.
