There are several theories swirling around through my head (not much there to stop the flow!) about why I hate leaving home . . one day I think it’s because I’m too lazy to put on makeup and do something with my hair; next day I think it’s because all I want to do is sit and knit; next day I think it’s because it’s so blasted hot and the car barely cools off from one stop to the next . . whatever the reason, I’m happiest when I can stay at home except for going to my knitting group.
This week . . it’s already been enough to make a home loving girl crazy. Monday I went to Abilene. Left here about 8 a.m. and got home mid-afternoon. I had planned to go to Hobby Lobby and JoAnn’s while in Abilene but after the doctor, I went and ate, went to Sam’s, got gas and came home.
Tuesday was my knitting group. That afternoon I had to go to physical therapy.
Yesterday morning I had a hair cut . . a much needed hair cut. It had been almost two months and I like to get a haircut about every four weeks. Then I went to get the oil changed, got the car inspected, went to Walmart (only because I dropped my flat iron and broke it), ate lunch, got a snow cone and came home.
Today . . the car had to be at Discount Tire for a 9:30 a.m. appointment. Vince asked me to stop and get bananas so I stopped by United. By the time I got home, I barely had time to get lunch ready, then I had to go back out to physical therapy, came home, Walgreen’s texted me that an Rx was ready to be picked up. I debated . . wait and go tomorrow or go get it today and then get to stay home tomorrow. I went and got it. That’s four days in a row, almost all day I was out three of those days . . I’m so ready to stay at home.
Now, I’m home and don’t plan on leaving again til I go to knitting on Tuesday. Wish me luck with that plan!

I love to stay home. I was supposed to go out on Wednesday to “Woolies”, but it was cancelled. Am I wrong to have done a happy dance?

I am exactly the same way! My dad lives with us. He is visiting with my sister in Breckenridge TX. He will be back on Sunday. I so cherish my time. I have gotten a few things done in his absence, but can’t help wanting a little more time. I don’t plan on leaving home this weekend either. Good luck!

I love staying home. Heading out to shop is truly an inconvenience! This week we have had a solo visit with our 2 1/2 year old grandson – loving it, but he heads home on Saturday and the Grandma and Granddad can relax and catch up on our sleep. I have 4 quilts ready to quilt, and I’ve only turned my machine on once all week!

Yes, I want to stay home, too especially in cozy comfortable jammies. Get up at usual time, shower & put clean undergarments & clean jammies on! Guaranteed to stay home entire day when wearing jammies!
