Hiding Cat

When Chad and Nicole were here, we rarely caught a glimpse of Cat.  Addie would see her from a distance and want to pet her but I explained that she wasn’t a friendly cat.

I missed having her out waiting for me in the mornings and I missed having her waiting for me to sit in the chair in the evenings, so she could rub up against my legs.

Cat on the Propane Tank

The first couple of nights they were gone, Cat was very cautious about coming out. I’d see her in unusual places. Once I caught her on the propane tank, which sits behind the well house. Cat could see what was going on before anyone would see her. While they were here, she spent a lot of time on top of the well house.

I think she’s now confident there are no little children around, and no strangers, and Vince’s car is parked back where it belongs (instead of Chad’s car being under the carport). Life is returning to normal for all of us.
