This morning as Chad was packing up their car and grumbling about how much more stuff they had to take home than they had when they got here . . could be because he had three five gallon buckets of rocks he was taking back and he left three buckets here for me to bring when I come . . Nicole was trying to figure out how to minimize “stuff”. She walked out of the bedroom wearing her backpack and boots.

Chad said “Girl, I think you’ve bee in Texas too long!” She didn’t try to wear the backpack or the boots but she made us all laugh.

Reminds me of a friend being critical of a character on Friday Night Lights for wearing a (suitable for office) dress and cowboy boots. She didn’t have legs like Nicole does, though!
