Yesterday Chad and Nicole left early and drove a bit west looking for rocks. Addie stayed with me. We packed up an activity book and a big box of new crayons and went to my knitting group. I didn’t have a lot of hope of getting to stay long but my knitting friends wanted to meet Addie. We made it about 10 or 15 minutes. I had told Addie we would have lunch at the Runaway Train and that was all she could think about.

She was so excited to go, even though we told her she had been once before. As soon as she sat down, she said “I’ve been here before!” Hmm . . I think we told you that! 🙂

Chad and Nicole are off on another adventure today and Addie is staying with me. In fact, she’s told me that she’s going to live with me and stay here when mommy and daddy leave. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens when they start to leave and she realizes she has to go with them. Some day she can spend a week or so with us but it can’t happen this trip.
