Another knitting project finished . . except for weaving in the ends.
The pattern is Bridgeport Cowl. It was not hard but that braid! I had never done that before and the yarn gets so twisted. There may be some secret I don’t know as to how to prevent that from happening but there are six rows of braid and each row has a top and bottom to the braid so that’s 12 rows of dealing with untwisting the yarn. I had to stop about every 10 stitches and untwist it. Like I said, it wasn’t “hard” but it was a but frustrating and I found myself dreading those rows. After doing the first row, I was thinking about how I could reduce the number of braided rows but in the end, I’m glad I did all six of them.

The cowl colors are actually navy and gold. But . . Vince would say . . Go Tigers anyway!

Wow, it’s beautiful. Those braided rows really show well

Never did this when knitting. Just a thought …would it be easier to tire the project than the yarn?
o .oul: you somehow bag both yarns and just rotate the bag?
Plastic Zip bag with a seam down the center and one yarn on each side?

I believe was told in in a class not to untwist yarn when doing a Latvian braid. It should untwist on its own when you do the second round. Hope this saves you time on your next braid.
