Ravelry is such a rabbit hole for me. The other day someone posted about a Knit Along to make Sunset Highway. I had been looking at that sweater so with a KAL, that was just what I needed to push me over the edge . . purchase the pattern and decide on a yarn.
The pattern calls for a fingering weight yarn “suitable for colorwork”. I struggle with colorwork, with the “back” yarn showing through. The pattern suggested single ply and I’m not a fan of single play yarn for sweaters, but I’m even less of a fan of using fingering weight for pullovers so I decided on sport weight and ended up deciding on Madelinetosh Pashmina.
I’m going to swatch and make sure I’m close to gauge since I’m using a different weight yarn. I have one more project I’d like to finish before starting this sweater but . . you know how that is probably going to go.

That is such a pretty sweater. I wish I could wear round yoked sweaters but they just don’t work for me. Your colors are going to be gorgeous in that pattern.
