The pattern is Sprite’s Fen by Curious Handmade and is the second shawl in The Shawl Society II series. The official knit along ended July 6 so I was 6 days late finishing but hey . . it’s finished . . except for blocking.
It will look so different after blocking but I was so excited to finish it. That’s a late night photo with our bad lighting . . the shawl is absolutely gorgeous! I will post a much better picture once it’s blocked.
I think it turned out so pretty! I struggled with the pattern at first, simply because I couldn’t get the curvy rows to register in my head. I kept getting off track and messing those up. Like most patterns, by the time I got about halfway done, I couldn’t figure out why I had struggled and was able to knit on this, even the curvy rows, while talking with my friends at the knitting group.
I really love this one!
Now I must get started on my July project for Camp Loopy. I had started it but messed up and ripped it all back. Notice a pattern here? 🙂

It will be beautiful when you block it! I’m always amazed at how ratty a lace shawl looks until blocked. Have you seen the shawls of Anna Victoria (Ravelry: By the Lily Pond)?
