Poor Cat! She spends most of her day on top of my car. In the afternoon, when it gets so hot, she parks herself under my car. I guess the rock surface of the carport floor, and the shade of the car, gives her just a bit of a cooler place to snooze the day away.
Last night when I started outside for my “end of the day” chores, I told Vince . . I haven’t seen Cat all afternoon. Then I looked over and saw her.
Her world has been turned upside down with my car being gone. I told Vince . . we should have rented an SUV so Cat’s routine would not be upset. He did not agree!
It makes me feel bad for those times when I leave for a 7 – 10 days. Not only is my car gone but Vince tells me that Cat sits in the driveway and watches the back door, waiting for me to come out. She misses me but she also misses her routine of being able to sit on top of my car and watch the day pass by.
She’s a funny cat. It’s still hard to believe how far we’ve come with her in a bit over two years.

Poor Cat! She adapts pretty well, though.

I too feel sorry for Cat, especially with the dreadfully hot weather you all have there. We are getting the triple digits temps this week and it’s hard to breathe with the humidity added in.

She is your cat for sure now. And all this coming from a person who didn’t like cats a long while back.Almost like when you didn’t want to move/ live in Texas all those years back.My how our lives change and what we like and don’t like too.Glad you are here and like cats now too.
