Vince and I had planned to get up at daylight and be out in the garden working but just before it was good daylight, the weather radio went off telling us we had a severe thunderstorm warning. Vince ran out and let the chicken out as the wind was picking up. As I’m typing, it’s raining pretty good. We aren’t really having a thunderstorm but just a fairly gentle rain. I love the rain on the metal roof though we don’t get a whole lot of sound because of insulation in the attic.
Even when the raining stops, it will be too hot and humid to work outside. Darn . . tomatoes needed to be tied up, grass needs to be cut.
So far we haven’t had a whole lot of rain . . not enough to keep me from having to water but enough to make it miserable outside with the humidity.
It looks like my morning in the garden has turned into a a whole day of sitting and knitting or maybe sewing a little. I’ll never complain about that!

you sure keep yourself happily busy! just a friendly reminder about the UFO for july, and the link up. I appreciate that you’re still doing it, even if you don’t quilt much (any) more! but who knows- maybe today, right?
