I asked Vince earlier . . whose idea was it to have a cat in the sewing room?
If I’m typing, he’s on the desk with a paw hanging over the keyboard, half the time pushing buttons. If I’m trying to cut out a pattern, he’s on the paper. If I’m trying to sew, he’s between me and the machine. If he wasn’t so darned sweet, I’d get much more work done.
As I was looking back through the pictures on this computer, it looks like every day that I’ve been trying to sew, he’s been right in the way.
Different levels of interference, but always there.
He isn’t nearly so interested in my knitting when I sit with him and knit. I guess there’s more movement and activity when I’m sewing. Maybe when I’m knitting, he can sit right beside me and stay there uninterrupted but when I’m sewing, I’m cutting, sewing, pressing . . who knows what a cat thinks.

Haha If I pay bills my cat is right there tossing them on the floor! She is always on top of me same as my dear Woody.. who passed two mos ago..he was also right there wherever I was… shower.. cooking..so he was banned when I did.. sewing..he had his own chair.. they are a handful but we love them! Nice to see Boots!

Boots is such a pretty cat! He’s just showing you that he appreciates such a nice place to live in ,,, oh and letting you know you’re in his territory. (lol).

It will never end..my old boy is 16 and he still has to be right in the middle of everything. SO cute!

He is lonely. He needs more interaction, play time with a wand. LeAve tv on for him. He misses you.

We have a wand that we play with him 3 or 4 times a day. I’m usually in the room with him at least 5 hours a day . . between sitting and knitting and my computer time. We don’t have TV .. not in the house or in the sewing room.

I think I remember you saying that he would come get in your way for a while, but tire of it and retreat to his window to oversee your progress. Looks like he’s getting more attached! He’s looking sleek and well-cared for, too.

Awwww … you like it and you know it .. He is sooooooooo precious and darned adorable. My foster cat was that way when I sewed also .. but when he tired of me he would curl up in a big ol plastic tub that I used for a trash can. If I wasn’t paying attention, I would throw scraps and thread scraps into it and he would just lay there and take it all in not saying a word, but I would have to clean him up before he left the sewing room. Sure miss him…
