With no time to spare, late last night I finished my first 2017 Camp Loopy project. It has not yet been blocked but it’s still beautiful.
If you remember, I wasn’t going to do Camp Loopy and then decided I would do it so I got started a full week late. I chose Workday Scarf for several reasons. A lady in our knitting group made it and it was so petty. She said it was easy. The deciding factor was that someone on Ravelry made it, start to finish, in three days. She probably didn’t have a garden and chickens and 50 other projects she couldn’t put down! 🙂
I ended up making it, not expecting to love it, but I do love it and I’m betting I use the heck out of this.
It was so easy to make. Once you get the rhythm going, you don’t even have to count . . or think. This is fingering weight yarn and I used about 435 yards but it would be real easy to make it so that it uses just one skein of fingering weight yarn.
This one ended up 9.5″ x 86″ not blocked. It will grow a little after being blocked but the blocking isn’t happening today.
I definitely recommend this pattern.

I love this scarf and I downloaded it. But I am not sure what “BO” stands for. I think it means bind off, but I am not sure that I am correct. I know that this is for the lacy edge, but I can’t make the instructions work in my head. Maybe I just need to get out my yarn and needles, but I would appreciate your help!

Very pretty, Judy! I can’t believe how quickly you finished. Can’t wait to see what’s next on your needles!

That is one pretty scarf. You know it does get very cold here in MO so if you find that you don’t use it in TX, just send it to MO. lol I am going to take a look see and decide if I can make one before cold weather hits. You know I’m the slowest knitter on the block, so we’ll see.
