First, almost every time I talk about a shawl, someone asks if I ever wear the shawls I make. All.the.time! In the winter, it’s rarely cold enough for a coat so sweaters and shawls are great. I like small shawls for pulling over my shoulders. I love big, huge shawls that I can totally wrap myself in. I detest wearing long sleeves, even in the winter. There’s so much I do that long sleeves are in the way so even sitting in the house, where we rarely use the heat and sometimes it’s pretty chilly, a shawl is perfect. My arms are free but I’m warm. I keep at least one shawl in my car even in the summer. So many places are freezing, even in July. The place where we meet for our knitting group is always cold. My dentist office in San Angelo is always cold. So, yes, I do wear the shawls a lot. And, quite a few of the shawls I make are given away. I think they make nice gifts, especially neutral colored shawls.
So . . the blog post . .
Rosemary (Romi) Hill has a workbook and 7 “reSizeable Patterns”. I think Reciprocate is the first pattern. It’s the first pattern I’ve seen anyway.I love it! Really love it!
Yesterday a Knit Along started for Reciprocate. There are several “hacks” so the pattern can be made several ways. I really want to do the knit along but I have so much going on.

- Tour-de-Sock coming up
I want to do Reciprocate. I think I’m going to go digging for yarn and see what I come up with but the real problem may be that I have so many projects on the needles that I can’t find any empty needles. Sad! Maybe I need to order needles.

Judy, how do you store them? I’ve got so many scarves and shawls – if I try stacking I can’t see what’s on the bottom. I have several hanging on mult-pant hangars – that works pretty well, but it gets really heavy and doesn’t hold very many. There are so many more I want to knit and I can’t knit fast enough:) I went to Aldi’s and picked up three of the carriers you posted about – they work well for projects – especially shawls. I’ve also found that the shoe box size plastic boxes from the Dollar Store work well for storing projects.

Hmmm. I never make/wear shawls because I think they’d be hard to keep on. Aren’t they always falling off? Obviously not, as you’re a super busy person! How do you keep your shawls on? I, too, dislike long sleeves because I’m a busy person, too…but now I’m intrigued. Which shawl do you wear while working (pattern source?) and how do you wear it? I’m so curious!
