This afternoon I needed two jalapeno peppers. I told myself . . it’s almost 3:00 and it’s HOT. Go straight out there and get 2 jalapeno peppers and come back.
Summer Time!
You know what happens . . I walk out there and see things that need picking so I grabbed a bucket and picked some beans, a few tomatoes and peppers.
Garden Bounty
By the time I had sorted all the beans, Vince was home and he actually helped me shell the beans. We put the snap beans in the fridge. I’ll do those tomorrow. It was nice to have a helper.
For now, I’m just washing the tomatoes, sticking them in a bag and putting them in the freezer. I’ll can them later. I can’t keep up with canning everything all at once. Well, I probably could but I end up not being able to work as much as I normally can because of my bum foot.
The garden is going good and I’m happy with how it came back after the hail damage.

Ugh, hope it isn’t humid, too. Nice little lot of goodies … even a couple of jalapeño peppers!

Your veggies look so pretty. My few plants are just starting to get blooms on them and we are getting the 95+ temps all this week. Hope that doesn’t keep things from setting veggies. I missed what happened to give you a bum foot. . Guess ill have to go back and find out. ):
