Does it strike anyone else as odd that I find myself apologizing to Cat when I need to use my car?

I’ve had to use it two days in a row, which is very unusual, but I found myself standing there saying “I’m sorry but I have to use my car again today!”
Remember when I couldn’t get anywhere near that cat? If she saw me walking towards the car, she’d jump down and run away.

I can now walk right up to her, eyeball to eyeball and she doesn’t run away. Today I had to shoo her down to get her off the car so I could be sure she was out of the way before I started it.
I’m still not brave enough to reach out and touch her. I let her come to me and once she’s rubbed on my legs a bit, I’ll reach down and pet her.

There she was . . almost to me. She got in a little loving time before I had to leave. She’s a good cat . . even if she’s a bit worthless in the snake/mice catching department. I’m glad we’ve become friends!

Cat has you wrapped around her widdle claw, just like my dog … Its such a pleasure to be wrapped….

Of course if she was catching them, she would probably leave one for you! She knows you don’t like them……
