Two other ladies in our knitting group are doing Miss Grace shawls and one of the ladies finished her shawl and had it for show & tell yesterday.

Nelle used one of the Skeino kits and made it right by the pattern. I love how her shawl looks like water color! She hasn’t blocked it yet so it will probably grow a little but you can see, where it is over mine, that her’s is quite a bit smaller.
For those who had asked about making the shawl smaller, I think it would be extremely easy to make it smaller. In the above photo, see the right hand side where there are just stripes, before the forms begin? That’s where you start and you would be working your way up towards t he top right (so that the “forms” are going horizontally as you work). You could stop most anywhere when you think you’re shawl is as big as you want it to be.
It’s all I can do to keep from casting on another Miss Grace but I need to get a few projects finished before starting something else.
