Thank you all for the support with my decision to drop the scheduled quilt related posts. I feel like a huge burden has been lived . . and I suppose I’m using that word “burden” lightly because the blog is not a life or death type situation for me but I do appreciate all of you, especially those of you who comment and let me know what you’re thinking and your support and understanding has meant a lot to me today.

Judy, I will miss your quilting posts but love all your gardening and chicken and life stories. Love your knitting stuff but I am also an ex-knitter as living in the So. CA desert, I rarely have need for knitted items. I love what you knit but often wonder how often you wear that in the winter as you don’t seem to go out in the evening for dinner. I could go shawl crazy but just don’t need items like that in the winter. This does not mean i will ever stop reading your blog. I love it! Also, loved meeting you at Road to CA the year you came out here. You, and your blog will always be followed by me! Love you!

I started following because of the quilting – but I love your blogs. It must feel like a weight has lifted – I know I kept feeling guilty of not getting dear jane blocks done and when I decided to stop the classes I felt much better. I have about 17 done and it will be a wall hanging!

Yep, I have to agree with those above. However, if you make the occasional quilt, I’ll be ok with that, too. I’m just now taking up knitting, not in small part because of your blog. We enjoy what you share about your life anyway, so just keep doing what you’re doing!

You are so much more than just a quilter. Love reading what you share on so many subjects.

Well, I started quilting with you but now I am raising chickens, gardening and not taking beet powder. Yes, you are educating all of us and I for one, enjoy every bit of it.

But you will still share your chicken, garden and life stories, right?

You kept that part of your blog going way longer than I would have!

I started knitting because of your blog. But I agree with the others–if it is not fun anymore, then drop it. 😉

Your blog will continue to be the first of my daily reads. Its informative, interesting, and fun. Appreciate all you share. Your blog, your decision but I don’t think it will change your readership much. Thanks for all you do.

Judy, I came to your blog for the last BOM you put out, but your personality and almost daily adventures kept me coming back. My boss has even become a fan, he caught me one day checking your blog, and said whats that? I cant remember exactly what the post was, but Vince was involved and we both got tickled. So now every day at lunch he wants to know what “our buddies” in Texas are doing. It’s a wonderful diversion in the middle of a work day. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

so sad you are discontinuing your links but totally understand the “chore” they have become. I want to thank you for those links because it exposed me to a lot of talented bloggers and helped me find followers. You also got me into knitting socks. Thank you very much!!!! just a small project to try another yarn. I’ll still be reading you
