Yesterday as I was making lunch, I needed a few things from the garden.
Green onions, tomatoes, jalapeno and bell peppers, parsley and cilantro. It’s so nice to be able to grab what I need from the garden.
On the other hand, I spent most of the day shelling the peas I had picked. I ended up with 14 cups of shelled peas but that shelling them really took almost the entire day. This afternoon I’ll get those canned.

I see Pico de Gallo or Salsa in your day! Beautiful! Do you prefer canned peas to frozen ones? If I had to shell thet many, I would eat half during the process. I love freshly shelled peas!

My bell peppers are doing squat!

It was 31 degrees here this morning – we haven’t even planted anything yet! Your garden produce looks yummy!!

Your garden is inspiring. Except…I know you put in a LOT of work. But looking at that picture, it seems worthwhile.
