Joji’s Mystery Wrap KAL will begin May 12. We need five colors of yarn for this and there have been some guidelines given as to where the lightest and darkest yarns should be placed. I believe I read that at some point, all yarns will be next to one another so we have to be careful about some yarns blending too much.
It’s hard for me to believe how much time I’ve spent digging through the yarn stash and what a mess I’ve made in what was fairly organized before I started trying to pull yarns that work well together. Getting three yarns that go together well is about my limit. Finding five . . almost impossible for me.
I believe this is the one I’m going to go with.
Another group in close contention is this:
In the beginning, I was sure I was going to use green and this was the first group I came up with but I think I’ve ruled it out . . but I still love these greens.
I’m thankful for the stash to play in but I surely wish I had a magic wand that I could wave and get the yarn all put back where it goes so my spreadsheet is correct and each yarn is where it’s supposed to be.

Love the first combination with the plum! The second works together too.

To me the first group is gorgeous, The second group is really pretty. The third group is okay but not a showstopper which surprised me since green is my favorite color. Anyway it’s going to be gorgeous.

I like the pink in #1…but the others would look good too!

Color is my thing….although I have no idea what the project will look like I feel the first group has it all. It will work not matter what the design and project is as it has enough variation, contrast, flow and value changes.

I like the first combination best. Whenever you use that green, it will look good on you.
