Addie’s Easter dress was finished just in time for her to wear it to church on Easter Sunday. I had asked Nicole to send me a picture of her in the dress and this is the picture Nicole’s mom sent me on Sunday.
Trying to get that girl to e still for a picture is almost impossible. From the blurriness of the skirt, I’d say she was probably on the verge of twirling.
Yesterday I wrote Nicole and asked her if she had any pictures of Addie without a bucket on her head! She sent me this one:
She must have been sitting because the dress is not that long. She loved it when we tried it on her and I think it’s big enough that she should get to wear it for a while.
Chad told Nicole “Well never have to buy clothes for Addie again, will we?” I wish . . but there will probably come a time when clothes made by Granny are not cool. For now, I’m going to make her everything I can make!

Oh, yes that day comes quickly, it isn’t cool to have hand made things. That happened with both my daughter and granddaughter about the time they hit middle school/junior high age. Except with my granddaughter she still wanted Halloween costumes, she would actually design herself. Now that she is graduating college I have to get busy and make her a quit!

What a pretty dress! She’s not going to be a priss, though…the bucket picture shows that! 😀

What a sweetie! The dress looks lovely on her, and the bucket makes a great Easter bonnet to go with it.
