Yesterday while sitting in my computer chair in the sewing room, I kept hearing Boots playing with his little toy that has the ball in the trough (not sure what you call it). I glanced behind me and he was on the floor on his back so I figured he got tired of playing and was just resting.

Then I kept hearing the ball rolling around in the trough so I turned to watch him and he was laying there . . flat of his back, and with one paw, he’d slap that ball when it came by him. He was too lazy or too tired to even get up off the floor!
He definitely looked comfortable but he was entertaining himself.

Well, I’m chuckling!
At least he’s (kind of) doing something! I was thinking recently about how older cats don’t play much. It may make life a little easier, but also less entertaining.

He is so handsome! My two kitties have one like that & also a 3 tiered one & one gets on one side & hits ball to other one on other side. They have more fun with it , & they are laying down to play too! Too funny!??
