It is kinda weird how things just pop into my head. I was thinking of things I could make for Addie and somehow I got to thinking about cut outs and applique pieces and cards and signs and boats and trains. Oh . . I don’t think I was thinking of boats and trains.
But then I started looking at the Cricut Explore Air 2. From there, I looked at the Silhouette Cameo and then another cutter popped up on my radar screen. I spent too much time on Saturday researching. Reading reviews. Reading blogs. Watching Youtube videos. Writing people who seemed to know what they were talking about.
Then . . the biggest step of all: Vince, I think I want a Cricut cutter! Oh, my . . it was just one week ago that I came up with the cover stitch idea. My sales pitch for the cover stitch was that I could make clothes for myself and save money. He believed it. I should have been a salesman! For the Cricut, my sales pitch was “I think you might have fun with it too!” He looked at it and right off the bat, he was impressed and looking for the best price he could find. Several times Saturday he said “Have you ordered it yet?” I said “no, not yet” and he would say “Do you want me to order it for you?” No . . I’ll order it and . . I did!
I think I’ll have so much fun making cute cutouts for Addie . . if I can learn to use the thing. Sometimes photo/imaging programs aren’t easy for me to figure out but if Vince stays interested, we should be fine.
Wednesday . . it will be here Wednesday. Now I’ll be stalking the UPS truck again and hoping it comes by UPS and not Fed Ex. I may have to bring a lawn chair and my knitting down to the end of the driveway and wait if Fed Ex is bringing it.
That’s it. No more crazy ideas can pop into my head!

Can’t fault you. I just ordered about $100 worth of quilt books I just had to have. Like I have time to make more quilts than I already am working on.?

I love my cricut. You will have lots of fun with it!

I’m curious why you chose a Cricut over an Accuquilt. Seems lots of quilters use the Accuquilt. What made you favor the Cricut?

I am wondering too. Hope you’ll share your insight.

I’m excited you got one cause I will get some new ideas/inspiration from you with things to do with mine. I have yet to cut fabric with mine but it has made so many paper decorations for events.
