A small loaf of bread never lasts longer than 3 or 4 days but just in case there’s extra bread when the new loaf is made, I can either make bread pudding . .
Or, I can make croutons for salad or soup.
Leftover bread cubes can also be tossed into the food processor and be made into bread crumbs . . as fine as you want to grind them. I saw a package of pork cutlets in the freezer and those are going to be breaded with coarser crumbs and fried!
