Good grief! I cannot tell you the last time I used interfacing and without even digging, I found these:
They are all Pellon and this is what they say on the paper inserts:
- 808F
- 911F
- SF101
- TP971F
- FF78F-1
I know they’re all fusible. That is all I know. Why did I buy these? I want to make some bags. Will any of these work?
The FF78F1 says “Flex Foam” Stabilizer 1 sided fusible. There are 10 yards per bolt and I have 2 bolts. I honestly don’t have a clue what I was going to do with it but I must have been going to do a lot! 20 yards!

Judy the Flex Foam will work wonderfully for bags. The SF101 is a very good stabilizer to use on the back of your fabric to give it more “umph”. I have been on the FB groups Swoon Pattern group and they have loads of helps on making bags. It is specifically for her bags, but get loads of info there. Boy when you order you don’t order a little, you make sure you will have plenty for a LONG long time.

You might want to check out the Sew Sweetness blog. Sarah has a guide to interfacing and she’s got some really cute bag patterns.

I don’t have any of those, but I have 809 to fuse to the backing fabric of wall hangings so they hang flat against the wall, and I have 931 for backing embroidery. You might take a small-ish piece of each and fuse them to some scrap fabric so you have samples of the stiffness of each and you can figure out how you would want to use them.

That’s a lot of interfacing!! You could practically start your own shop! I used the flex foam when I made Noodlehead’s Makers Tote. Good luck!

I love the foam for bags. It provides a lot of stability, but be careful to only use it in the main pieces or it can get too thick to sew. My other favorite that you don’t have listed (or it might be and I don’t know the number) is Decor Bond. It is my absolute favorite go to for making bags.
