The warm up pattern for Sock Madness was released last week. This sock wasn’t part of the competition and since I’m determined to use stash yarn, I found two yarns that would work. Both were just a little tonal and a solid would have been more ideal but . . stash yarn that had been in the stash forever was going to be used.
Socks
My stranded work is getting so much better. My floats are a bit looser, which is so important for socks since they have to stretch to get over the heel.
I’m scaring myself because I’m starting to like colorwork.

Sock Madness is a Ravelry group. It’s very competitive but quite fun and if you’re new to sock knitting, you will be challenged and learn quite a bit. Heck, I’ve been sock knitting for over 10 years and I’m going to be challenged.

I Love that pattern. I just made a STANDARD sock and it took my 2 yrs and rip outs to get it done. Not sure I’m uo to Competitive sock knitting yet… Now how do i close that toe??? going to Knitting.com!
