Have you ever heard of a litchi tomato? You can read about it here. It sounds pretty intriguing, though the reviews are mixed at Baker Creek. I’ll try anything once . . or twice. I’m thinking I might plant them in raised beds NOT in the garden. With all the grass burrs, I don’t need something else with thorns pricking me in the garden.
These are the seedlings I’ve started in the garden. Can you see the thorns already on the little plants?
This is going to be one of my experimental plants for this year! I love trying new things.

How fun! I’m not sure I want to deal with anything that has spikes on it though. Heaven knows we’ve got enough of that around here! Still, I might change my mind if you come back with a 5 star review. 🙂 You are my gardening guru!

I have not heard of them. I love that you try new things.
My dad always had a huhe garden. Burped used to send him mystery test seeds every year to try and them report on. We knew what the seed was but not the variety. I rembet Egyptian onions, long keeper tomatoes and dumpling squash.

They sound tasty. I hope they grow well for you. I usually don’t plant anything with thorns because there are enough stickery weeds around here to deal with so I’ll wait for you to report back.
