This morning as I was writing this post, I couldn’t decide between two topics – one involved a weird black spider and one involves food. It’s too early in the morning for food but it’s way too early for the spider picture.
Our Valentine’s Day meal . .
The funny thing about this dinner, besides it being extremely yummy, was that I didn’t use my stove at all. It’s pretty funny that I go for days and days without using the stove. I used the pressure cooker to boil the eggs, then I steamed the lobster in the pressure cooker. I used an electric steamer to cook the asparagus and the potatoes were baked in the air fryer. I usually steam lobster on the stove but steaming them in the pressure cooker . . they were so darned tender!
Next meal . .
The funny thing about this meal, except fort he rice, everything came from my back yard. Venison, anasazi beans I grew last year, tomatoes and parsley from the greenhouse. I would be happy if we could grow all our food . . but we can’t so I grow what I can and buy what I can’t grow.
I am so ready to get the garden planted.

Yummy! We would love to grow all our food also. We like to know who grows the animals. Thanks for sharing.

Ooo, all looks so yummy (especially that asparagus–I LOVE asparagus!). How’s the weight loss plan going? I probably missed updates while out of town but was just curious.
