Thanks to the blog, I can go back and see exactly when we did pretty much everything. This post tells me that we planted the apricot trees in February, 2013.

Apricot Trees
The top rail on the fence is probably 3 or 4 feet tall and for the most part, the apricot trees were barely as tall as the top rail. I think the fencing around the trees is 4 feet tall.
Now, four years later, the trees are 10 to 12 feet tall.

Apricot Trees
I’m hoping for a bumper crop of apricots this year but they like a consistently cold winter and we didn’t get that so . . we get them or we don’t . . not much we can do about it.

I grew up in the San Francisco bay area and we had two apricot trees in our front yard that always gave us a bumper crop. That area is certainly not known for cold winters. They were so good and I sure miss them!
