Tomorrow begins another four day quiltathon. Everyone ready? Tomorrow I’m going to sew with my friend and we’ll be making some little crafty skirts for our granddaughters but then once those are done, I’m going to quilt Blueberry Hill.
I’ve already taken a spinach meatloaf out of the freezer for lunch tomorrow and cabbage rolls out for lunch on Thursday. This afternoon I’ll finish up some laundry and then I should be able to sew with no interruptions.

I am so sad I will miss this, but grandchild comes first. It will be fun but tiring weekend (22 months). Hope y’all have fun.

Can’t. The weather is gorgeous here. In the 80’s. Have to get the flower beds cleaned up because my plants think it is Spring already and are beginning to put out new foliage. Got to get rid of the dead stuff. I plan to quilt after dinner, or when I’m too sore to do anymore yard work.?

I’m basting my quilt so I can quilt until it’s finished. Then I have 2 tops to finish putting together and if I run out of things to do, I can always clean my sewing room. 🙂 Food wise, he is in charge of what I tell him to cook. 🙂 Excited!

I’ll be working on the binding of a T-shirt quilt. But, most of the rest of the week and weekend is taken up with kiddo things. I will have applique with me, but that will be all that will be accomplished.

I will surely do my best! I have plenty to work on and meals in the freezer.

I got out the #9 project which was just in the cut out stage and had to figure out what I had intended. didn’t read the directions well and thought I could figure it out from the picture, so drove myself crazy and stopped. read the directions and got confused so stopped working on it. will get it all lined up correctly but once again I have been keeping sick grandkids and will have the 16 month old tomorrow as she was sent home from daycare with fever. nine year old was here yesterday with strep throat but think the little one is from allergies and sinus drainage. doubt I will get work done on the cats quilt. once it is set up, it is a simple top to sew but requires keeping everything in order. expect to do a lot of sitting and rocking and reading books tomorrow. hopefully the 3 year old won’t come down with strep and require keeping the next day or so and I can work on this ufo. did get a started putting a few pot holders together for the girls to give teachers for valentines. need to make a trip to walmart to get an exacto knife to cut some plastic to finish a small project for the little girls valentines.

i really don’t like using my crockpot, but tomorrow i will so that i can sew, sew, sew! i’ve been undecided as to what to work on even tho i have several choices. tonite when i go to bed i’ll fall asleep sorting ‘things to get done’ and wake up with a plan. choices include dear jane blocks, an applique project, a jeans quilt, and more. looking forward to committing time with my machine.
