I’ve knitted and ripped back and knitted and ripped back and given up on Find Your Fade. It may not be for me . . or I may try again some day.
That’s sock #1. These are my “no brain” projects . . what I do when watching TV or talking or at our knitting group. I’ll finish them some day.
Had I been working on Architexture all along, instead of trying to make Find Your Fade work, I would have finished Architexture but . . I tried!
I’ve also started one of the mystery knit along shawls and have a few rows done on it. I’ll probably show it over the weekend.
What’s on your needles?

Oh no! your Fade as faded away….. Love those blues in the sock yarn and since green is my favorite color I totally love that yarn.

After all that choosing of the colors, it’s sad that you’re not making “Fade.” Was it the knitting of it, or was it the way the colors worked together that wasn’t agreeing with you?

Just so you know, I have learned to knit solely because I love how your socks look! My friend said I had to make a scarf first so I did. Actually made two. Then I bought 9″ circulars and watched YouTube videos until I felt confident enough to try socks. I have actually made 6 pair, three of which I have given away because they didn’t fit. I still don’t read a pattern well but I am learning. Google has been a great help when I don’t understand. So far I have always been able to find a video to show me what I need. Thanks for showing your work and stirring my creativity!
