My friend is a perfectionist but seriously, without even trying to be perfect, everything she does is perfect. Piecing the quilt was a cake walk for her. I wasn’t sure I wanted to use the longarm for the first time in several years while she was watching but I did it.
My friend has never quilted on a longarm so I got the practice quilt loaded and I made a pass or two to make sure the machine was working great, which, of course, it was.
She tried it and wasn’t real relaxed but after another pass across the panto, she had it down and was doing an amazing job. I sat down and did a few things on the computer and she was quilting away. After doing about half the quilt, I took over for her and by the end of our quilting time, the top was quilted.
The wind was still blowing like crazy but I was patient and finally got a halfway decent picture. I’ll get the binding done and find a home for this beauty.
