Miss Babs‘ yarn skeins come all neatly wrapped in Miss Babs’ tissue paper. I save it, always planning to re-use it for packing material but it came in handy for stabilizer behind the applique.
I cut it into rectangles just a bit larger than the blocks and used it behind them to help stabilize the blocks for stitching.
Here’s a peek at how my green snow fabric may look as sashing.
I think it’s going to be perfect!
