After several attempts that didn’t thrill me, I think I have a combination that will work.
I still wish the lightest green was a little lighter but anything I have that’s lighter looks way too yellow. I’m using what I have and this will be fine.
Even though I’m not 100% thrilled with the light green, I think the block looks great with the trees. There will be plain borders and pinwheel blocks between the log cabins and the trees but still .. I like the overall look.
All the pieces are cut for the remaining 11 blocks. They will go quickly now but that’s a project for another day. Chickens need attention, the greenhouse plants need to be watered now that the hoses have thawed .. then I’ll get a little knitting time in before bed.
Thanks to all who participated in the Quiltathon. Hope you all got some sewing time in. February 8 – 11 is the next one . . it’s Wednesday through Saturday. I’ll remind you and talk about it more between now and then.
