The top border on the Cabin in the Woods quilt only needs 6 tree blocks. Six blocks are made so I feel like that was an accomplishment.
Since my friend won’t be sewing with me til after the holidays, I’ll probably go ahead and take down my deer blocks tomorrow and leave hers up so hers don’t get mixed with mine. She’s never made a quilt (or at least I don’t think she has) and she’s having fun so maybe I’ll have myself a new quilting buddy. She sews – she makes drapes and amazing home decoration things so it isn’t like she’s new to sewing.
How many straight days have I been in the sewing room? At least three – maybe four?? It still feels good.
Tomorrow we’ll take Speck to the vet for a nail trim if the vet is in. I can’t take him by myself and you can bet one of us will end up with a dog bite before the trip is over. I’m hoping there are no other plans for the day tomorrow but with Vince home, you never know!

Judy, I do have to laugh when I see your titles of the posts – if I see something about “deer”, you might be seeing one in your yard, or you might be cooking one – or you might be quilting one ! There just is no guessing…glad you are having fun in any situation.

So glad you are stitching again. I hoped if I held on long enough your quilting mojo would return.
