The fabric decision may have been made . . maybe not . . you never know.
Fabric for Cabin in the Woods
Despite my tremendous love for limey green fabric (and walls and clothes), I’m leaning toward using the solidish almost light avocado for the green. The background fabric has a bit of a green hint when next to the other greens. I think the mottled green in the foreground isn’t what I want.
Trees
The trees will be scrappy with scrappy browns. Boots is just there to show his approval for my choices.
The pinwheels and log cabins will have a mix of blues and greens.
Hey folks . . I may be ready to start sewing soon.
Paper for Trees
I would have made a few trees yesterday except the background fabric had to be washed. It’s washed and ready now so maybe by the end of the day, you’ll see a tree or two!

Whoot whoot!!! I know I got out of the quilting area for awhile. A request for purses from my daughter for the grandkids got me going…a little. Your quilt is good enough to do 🙂

It’s going to be a beautiful quilt Judy! This is the first quilt that’s caught my interest since my husband passed away 13 months ago. I haven’t quilted, knitted or read a book since then. Hopefully it will become available to your fans to purchase. I’m already thinking of fabrics. Maybe I’m finally getting out of my rut thanks to you. Merry Christmas to you and Vince!
