It was almost three years ago when I got a 16″ Curious George stuffed “figure” for Addie and I had no idea at the time how much she would love George.

The other day we were video chatting and out of the clear blue, Addie said “Granny, I want another George.” I asked her why and she said “He needs a brother!” I was telling Vince and that night, one of the Amazon Lightning Deals was a 12″ Curious George stuffed figure so I ordered him.

It will be interesting to see if she carries both of them around, or if she mostly carries one or the other. Nicole and I are both going to be sad if she likes the new George better than the old George but . . we can handle whatever she decides. 🙂

My grandson was the same way. George went all over Disney world with us but one of the times we were there late at night he some how got dropped from the stroller. It wasn’t discovered until we got back to the condo. My daughter in law made up some story and my grandson substituted another stuffed animal that night. She got on Amazon as soon as she got him in bed and ordered another to be delivered the day they got home. Just by chance the next day we checked lost and found — and surprise– George had slept there that night, couldn’t let my grandson see him until he had a good bath. So yes, he did carry both of them around when he got home. Maybe some nice person knew how little ones get attached to George.
