Remember a while back when were talking about granny jeans? When I went down to the next smaller size jeans, I came across a pair of jeans I had bought shortly before I went up to the next size. They’re Levi’s Women’s Totally Slimming At the Waist Boot Cut jeans. That’s what I want – at the waist and boot cut. They come in regular, short, medium and long lengths and run $16.00 to about $20/pair. I love them so much that I went ahead and ordered the next size down too. How’s that for optimistic? 🙂
This is the link to the jeans at Walmart but since they’re Levi’s, you can probably find them other places too. Spend $50 at Walmart.com and you get free shipping because who wants to go to Walmart this time of year?

🙁 Sadly, my waist & hips are both about the same size (I have no backside either!) and manufacturers seem to think all women have the same bust/hip ratio to their waist. If I buy according to waist-size, my pants look like the belong on a rapper and the crotch-seam would hang to my knees. Elastic waistbands are my best friend, but I hate how they look. I don’t think it would change much even losing the 40-lbs I need to lose. Haven’t reach the weight-loss mind-set yet though. Thanks for sharing though, and I’m happy to be following your journey.

I laughed at “this time of year.” I hate going to the mall at any time, but especially after Thanksgiving, but I needed a couple things there. Thanks to years of your comments about shopping in Christmas season, I remembered to go on Wednesday before TG.
