Under the Oak has been blocked and photographed and I’m so ready to wear it!
The cable design is so pretty! The border is interesting too – just a little variety to the normal ribbing.
The yarn I used is Brooklyn Tweed’s new Arbor. It’s a nice yarn and the green (Wreath is the color) is very colorfast. I used exactly 725 yards. The pattern calls for 825 yards and I would go with that much just to be safe. I’m a bit of a tight knitter.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this pattern to a beginner. It’s so well written and easy to follow and doesn’t require constantly looking at the pattern.
As soon as the pattern is released, I’ll post a note here.
